The open-source hardware revolution is descending upon Bologna, Italy, and the OpenHW Foundation is proud to be at the heart of the action. From June 8–12, 2026, the RISC-V Summit Europe will serve as the premier gathering for industry leaders, and OpenHW is participating as a Silver Sponsor to showcase our latest advancements in verified, industrial-grade processor cores.
Visit Us at Booth 15
We invite all attendees to visit us at Booth 15. Our team will be on hand to discuss our growing ecosystem, membership benefits, and the technical roadmaps for our CVE2, CVE4, and CVA6 core families. Whether you are a developer, an IC design engineer, or a researcher, stop by to see our latest demos and learn how we are bridging the gap between academic research and commercial-grade SoC production.
Technical Leadership and Collaboration
The OpenHW team is bringing a deep bench of expertise to the conference program. Our scheduled activities emphasize our commitment to verification, compliance, and cross-project collaboration:
CVA6 Tech Meetup: Join us on Monday, June 8, at 2:00 PM in the Ambra Meeting Room for a deep dive into CVA6-centered discussions, covering verification efforts for projects like Rigoletto and Tristan.
Poster Sessions: Join us for our featured posters: ‘Beyond the Basics: Elevating Eclipse ThreadX to a First-Class RTOS for RISC-V’ by 10x Engineers (Frédéric Desbiens and Akif Ejaz) and Ihsane Tahir’s poster on CVFPU Verification.
Unified Access Platform (UAP): We will be highlighting the UAP, a vital initiative bringing together EU-funded RISC-V artifacts into a single collection to support European digital sovereignty.
Major Announcement: Last week we announced the CORE-ET Silicon Platform. At the Summit meet the team and hear more about the technical roadmap and ecosystem plans.
Building a Sustainable Future
Our presence in Bologna isn’t just about technical specifications; it’s about the community. We are excited to engage with our 29+ members and recruit new partners who share our vision of verified open-source hardware.
We look forward to seeing you in Italy as we continue to drive the advancement of RISC-V technology.
See you at the Summit!
